Super Metabolism Tea Recipe

Servings: 2 cups
Time: 10–15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups water

  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, sliced thinly (or 1 tsp ginger powder)

  • 2 green cardamom pods, slightly crushed

  • 1 small cinnamon stick (or ½ tsp cinnamon powder)

  • 2–3 cloves

  • 1–2 black peppercorns (optional, for extra thermogenic effect)

  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for taste)

  • Juice of ½ lemon (optional, for flavor and vitamin C)

Instructions:

  1. Boil spices: In a small saucepan, add 2 cups of water, ginger slices, cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, cloves, and peppercorns.

  2. Simmer: Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5–10 minutes. The longer it simmers, the stronger and more aromatic the tea.

  3. Strain: Pour the tea through a fine mesh strainer into a cup.

  4. Add flavor: Stir in honey or maple syrup if desired. Add lemon juice for a refreshing twist.

  5. Serve hot and sip slowly, enjoying the warmth and aroma.

Optional Boosters for Metabolism:

  • Turmeric: ¼ tsp for anti-inflammatory benefits

  • Cayenne pepper: A pinch for thermogenic effect

  • Green tea or matcha: Brew 1 tsp green tea along with the spices for added antioxidants and metabolism boost

Tips for Best Results:

  • Drink it in the morning or before meals to help stimulate digestion.

  • Avoid adding sugar; natural sweetness from honey or maple syrup is enough.

  • Fresh ingredients give the best flavor and benefits.
